Untold Stories About Fortuna
Call Me Fortuna!
Hi Friends!
Born on October 9, 2000 in Jakarta, making me the first
child of two siblings. My father was an English teacher and my mother was a
notary. Born in the name of Fortuna Dewi Cahyo makes me grow into a healthy and
intelligent child. As information, people usually call me Ivo or Fortuna. A
pretty unique name for girls!
I had a little
interest in language and writing. No wonder because my father was a writer.
From kindergarten, I've been introduced to the world of literature and art. At
that time, I've been following a few competitions like Poetry, singing, and Theatre competitions. Everything I follow with joy!
As a Libra, I
have some unique hobbies. I really like listening to music with various genres
such as opera, jazz, classic rock, pop, disco, and indie. If I’m in a relaxed and
a good mood I've listened to pop and jazz songs. But if I'm in a learning mode
I often listen to opera and classic jazz songs. Then the indie song I listened
to when I was feeling blue. Besides that, I also love to read books and write.
I love all the genres of books, but right now I really like leftist books,
biography, and self-improvement. The last book I read was "My Brief
History" by Stephen Hawking and "Kosmos" by Carl Sagan. The rest
I spend time writing on Quora and Twitter.

Time flies, I never thought that now I am almost 20 years
old. However, the memories that happened in the past did not make me forget. I
remember when I was 5 years old, I often watched the comedy "Bajaj
Bajuri" in the living room with my family. The show was funny and
impressive! Unfortunately, we will have struggle to find such a show again nowadays.
Besides watching together, my family and I also like to look for food in
Jakarta. One of our favorite culinary places is Martabak Kubang Hayuda, South
Jakarta. Our favorite food menu is of course the legendary martabak,
accompanied by delicious pickled gravy. I really miss these things, hopefully I
can feel it again!

I am currently entering my second year of studying Environmental Health at University of
Indonesia. I was happy to be able to study in a major that I was
interested in, because I would like to be a scientist. By becoming a scientist,
surely, I can contribute my ideas and thoughts, so that I can advance the world
of science and human civilization. I hope that in the future I can become a
human that is useful for the environment and life around.
